About Jodie Brewer, PA-C

Jodie Brewer, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Anchorage Dermatology & Cosmetics, where she provides compassionate, patient-centered care in both medical and cosmetic dermatology to residents in Anchorage, Alaska. 

She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro College in New York in 2012 and began her career on the East Coast, working in general and orthopedic surgery. In 2015, she relocated to Alaska and joined the Alaska Native medical system, gaining valuable experience while deepening her appreciation for Alaska Native culture and community care.

Inspired by her family’s history of skin cancer, Jodie is strongly interested in skin cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. At Anchorage Dermatology & Cosmetics, she is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy skin through personalized treatment plans. She offers comprehensive services, from diagnosing and treating complex skin conditions to guiding patients through cosmetic procedures that support confidence and well-being.

Jodie is dedicated to building long-term relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. She is proud to be part of a team that prioritizes advanced dermatologic care while maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment.

Outside of the clinic, Jodie and her husband, whom she met in McCarthy, are raising their two daughters in Alaska. She enjoys running, biking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors, embracing the beauty of the Alaskan lifestyle with her family.
