Joel Massey, MD, is a dedicated primary care physician practicing at Hill Country Wellness Journey in New Braunfels, Texas. Many local residents know Dr. Massey from his years as a primary care physician within a large hospital-affiliated healthcare system, where he earned a reputation for thoughtful, comprehensive care. He has also served patients through the Veterans’ Health Association and has remained actively involved in community outreach initiatives, including participation in Walk with a Doc and The Institute for Public Health Education and Research.

Dr. Massey provides comprehensive outpatient primary and preventive care for patients of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors. He has eaten at the White House, been aboard Air Force One, flown small airplanes as a hobby, and lived for six months on a tiny island in the Pacific. He has also held medical licenses in 52 states and territories, bringing a uniquely broad perspective to his practice. Despite his travels and experiences, he remains proud to call Texas home.
