Had a great experience with the doctor he’s trying to figure out what’s going on ! Everyone in the Office is nice & caring. Thank you
Everyone in the office was very pleasant.
Great experience. Dr Vandersluis and staff were all so friendly and helpful.
everything went well
Two recent visits showed ongoing problems with organization and communication. First visit (EEG): We waited 1½ hours in the waiting room while other patients were seen ahead of us. When I finally checked at the desk, staff thought my wife had already been seen and then rushed her back for the scheduled EEG. Second visit (consult to review test results): The doctor met with us briefly. He appeared agitated when we asked him to explain the diagnosis. This was the first time Alzheimer’s had ever been mentioned; the label “severe late-onset Alzheimer’s dementia with anxiety” had simply appeared on a lab order. He said someone from their Alzheimer’s group would come down to speak with us, then left. We waited alone in the exam room for another 30 minutes. He eventually put his head in the door, apologized that no one had come, and left again. The entire encounter felt rushed and preoccupied. Contacting the office is difficult—Dr. Vandersluis does not appear in their MyChart, and messages go only to the front desk. After waiting months for these appointments, the experience was disorganized and dismissive toward an elderly patient and her caregiver.

I would leave no stars if I could this was the worst experience I ever had
Dr Vandersluis is through.
I would recommend very highly. Very professional and caring. Took his time evaluating me and answering my questions. The staff was wonderful.
Since I live an hour drive from their office they worked me in for testing instead of having me to come back. The staff were very understanding.
Very kind and caring and knowledgeable
Very nice experience, actually took the time to learn about what symptoms I was experiencing and possible causes instead of just trying to explain what he thought was the issue that caused them
Dr. Joel is very sharp and personable. He is knowledgeable and up on recent research. I highly recommend him and his office.
Made me feel better about all he explained
Would like a bit quicker experience
Very friendly. A great experience. The communication with the Dr and staff was excellent. Feel confident in their care for me
Dr. Joel's office is running smoothly even when the office is busy you do not wait long, very efficient. Dr. is knowledgeable and explains what he is doing prior to his actions. I have been to other neurologist and they make me feel cattle moving from one room, this office is highly recommend
I had an EMG & a EEG. The waiting room was full so I had to wait between procedures but not too long. It was a new experience for me. It was interesting. Nothing to it.
Very friendly staff. The wait time was short . Dr.Vandersluis was good, very businesslike, not one for chit chat. Seemed to be thorough. This was my first visit, I intend on going back.
