Dr. John Hau, MD

John Hau, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician at Summit Pain Alliance. Dr. Hau is currently the medical director of Summit Pain Alliance, and proudly serves the communities in and around Santa Rosa and Petaluma, California. 

Dr. Hau completed his undergraduate studies in molecular and cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley. He then went on to complete his medical school training at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Hau completed his residency in anesthesiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where he was elected as chief resident during his final year of residency. He then pursued his fellowship training in interventional pain management at the University of California, Los Angeles, which is ranked among the best hospitals in the nation.

During his training at UCLA, he learned advanced interventional pain management techniques used in the treatment of many painful conditions. He uses these advanced techniques in practice today to help his patients reduce or eliminate their pain, allowing them to lead more productive lives.
