Dr. John Melek, MD, MSc

John Melek, MD, MSC, is a highly experienced, board-certified physician leading the team at The Beloved Medical Clinic, Pain and Spine in Dallas, Texas. He has specialized expertise in both internal medicine and interventional pain management. 

Dr. Melek graduated from the University of Alexandria Medical School in Egypt. He then finished his general surgery residency and two-year colorectal fellowship. Dr. Melek then relocated to the United States and completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital, affiliated with The University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Melek is an active member of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN), as well as the American Association of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP).

Dr. Melek is dedicated to helping patients overcome chronic pain and regain their physical independence. He focuses on treating complex musculoskeletal and spinal conditions with safe, minimally invasive, non-surgical therapies designed to keep patients out of the operating room.
