I recently visited Dr. Regan in Santa Monica. My impression of the staff is first rate. The office has a warm welcoming feel and the staff are very attentive to your needs. They understand our pain for us spineys. I had seen Dr. RShow moreegan years ago during my ugly spine surgeries that failed from other surgeons. Dr. Regan led me though the proper choices then post those first surgeries. I have had 15 years of no pain. Now with Stenosis, Dr. Regan will be the ONLY Spine surgeon allowed to operate on me. His commitment to providing the finest expertise in spine surgery is unparalleled. Dr. Regan has helped several friends of mine all with great success. You know when you have a great doctor when he calls you on your cell phone and shows how much he cares. My surgery is in the months ahead and I will be back to my pain free self again, thank you in advance, Dr. Regan and staff.

Dr. Regan performed major surgery on me for a major lumbar spine problem that I had in 2007 and that area is still pain free. Recently i developed severShow moree stenosis at 3 other lumbar levels. Dr. Regan just did decompression surgery at those 3 areas and they were immediately relieved. The nerves are not being pinched anymore. Immediately after surgery i could feel the relief. Dr. Regan is one of few surgeons in the United States to complete two fellowships in spine care — the first in spine trauma at A.O. International Hospital in Switzerland and the second at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Regan went on to become a key physician at the Texas Back Institute, a nationally recognized spine center.
He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at Emory University affiliated hospitals in Atlanta. He also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Dr Regan and his staff are the best I've experienced in a long time. I've had two laminectomies that unfortunately didn't fix my problem. I decided to go to the best surgeon I could travel to safely. His staff are kind and efficient. They all listen and care about your outcome. My husband had major back surgery 11years ago with Dr Regan. He's enjoyed all those years pain free and able to pursue all his sports interests. I can't recommend Dr Regan more highly.

Great staff, great doctor lots of knowledge and experience . I was told by two doctors is my only option, but when I went to dr. J.Reagan he offered me a different type of surgery that is less invasive and quick recovery only a few weeks he told me the name of this treatment , I am unable to describe it, you need to make a appointment with him,and it worth to that. He opened up a new door for me.
Didn’t have to wait for Dr. Regan, appointment started right on time. Dr. Regan was very professional, took the time to explain everything in a very simple way and answered all questions. The office staff was also professional and courteous.
