Jonathan Malakan, DDS

Dr. Jonathan Malakan is a trained oral and maxillofacial surgeon dedicated to providing advanced surgical care with an emphasis on precision, efficiency, and patient comfort. He received his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry, graduating with honors and earning induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Malakan completed both his internship and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. His training included rotations at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Anne Arundel Medical Center, and St. Barnabas Hospital, where he developed extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, implant rehabilitation, facial trauma, and anesthesia.

Known for his calm and approachable demeanor, Dr. Malakan prioritizes clear communication and individualized treatment planning for every patient. He believes successful surgical care combines technical excellence with a reassuring and supportive patient experience.

His clinical interests include dental implant surgery, bone grafting, full-arch rehabilitation, wisdom tooth removal, complex extractions, and office-based anesthesia.
