Jordan Cruz, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner and a valued provider at SLENT, an outstanding otolaryngology practice with clinics across Louisiana. Jordan sees patients at the Mandeville and Hammond locations.
Originally from a small town in North Louisiana, Jordan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2008. She gained early clinical experience working as a registered nurse in a surgical intensive care unit and a post-anesthesia care unit at a major hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
In 2011, Jordan and her family moved to Madisonville, Louisiana, where she joined SLENT as Dr. Guillot’s registered nurse, launching the practice’s allergy department and later serving as clinical coordinator. After five years in nursing, Jordan chose to further her education, earning her Master of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2016. Now a Family Nurse Practitioner, she enjoys treating patients of all ages with a variety of ear, nose, and throat concerns.
In 2017, Jordan embarked on another important role with SLENT, overseeing the creation and launch of the SLENT Surgery Center. By 2018, the center was fully operational, and Jordan now serves as its Administrator, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
Jordan is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. She is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA), and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
