Jorein Teves, ARNP

Jorein Teves, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at Prudent Medical Providers, with offices in Tacoma and Federal Way, Washington. Jorein has over 10 years of experience providing acute care, orthopedics, mental health support, and emergency care. 

Jorein received her bachelor’s degree in child development and family relations from the University of the Philippines. She then went on to pursue her master’s degree in nursing at Gonzaga University. She has been working as a bedside registered nurse for several years and holds certification in family nursing through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. 

She served as a clinical instructor for prospective nursing students at Elgin Community College, enjoying the opportunity to work with future nurses to further their career goals. Her wide range of experience plays an important role in her approach to nursing. Jorein offers patient-centered care that focuses on your specific health and well-being, as well as your treatment preferences. 

Jorein believes that every person is unique, and works closely with all patients to ensure they receive the appropriate care they require. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics who uses her expertise in family medicine to provide exceptional care for children as they grow and develop into adults. 

Outside of nursing, Jorein enjoys traveling with her husband, Noel, and her daughter, Sofia. They have a sweet dog named Karlos who brings their family joy.
