I saw Dr. Fábregas but due to lack of appointments, they also recommended Dr. Luna, and I did not do wrong to change. Dr. Luna was patient, he asked me everything and took his time with me, I felt confident and wanted to stay witShow moreh him. He is very kind. Actually both of them are good doctors but I will change it to my primary Dr., Dr. Luna. The girls in the Weston area are very friendly too. Thanks. José Luna is a very experienced practitioner and has a lot of knowledge on the physiological and drugs which make sense (for me) as a patient. He is not trying to push drugs on you without first trying natural or alternative andShow more common sense methods (like proper diet and exercise). He is very good in warning about the use of different drugs and the negative effects on your health. I’ve been going to this practice for 2 years and it’s very refreshing vs going to Cleveland Clinic in weston (who’s doctors just want you in and out like a factory with no bedside manner or empathy with the individual patient needs). Another thing is when I set up an appointment, they keep their appointment times and don’t have me sitting and waiting for more than 5 minutes.

Nurse Luna was born and raised in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. In 1992, he completed his Doctorate in General Medicine at the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas in Santiago de Cuba, focusing on family practice. He began practicing in Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago for some years as a house physician. Later, he got the opportunity to expand his knowledge in the field and worked in the Dominican Republic as a doctor at a pharmaceutical company.
Nurse Luna later achieved his long-term goal of working in the United States and began working as a medical assistant at Miami Beach Medical Group in 2013 while going to nursing school. He then completed his associate’s degree in nursing at Saber College in Miami, Florida, followed by his master’s degree in nursing at Miami Regional University in 2019.
While in nursing school, he continued working at Miami Beach Medical Group. Prior to joining the team at Healthstone Primary, Nurse Luna worked at Community Health and Wellness Center of Miami. In addition to his medical education, Jose also has an Alzheimer’s Certification, an HIV Certification, Domestic Violence Certification, Infection Control Certification, and a CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
When not assisting patients, Nurse Luna enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys exercising to keep a healthy lifestyle.

Jose Luna provided excellent medical service, and made the necessary change to one of my medications. He explained the necessary regimen to control my hypertension and hyperglycemia.
My experience with attending Jose Luna, ARNP is always good. He is professional, and caring towards his patients. He is never in a rush to get you out of the office he really take care of his patients.

I decided to try the Weston location after receiving very poor service from the Taft location, Doctor Luna assessed my blood results thoroughly and made recommendations on potential medications that I am happy with, he also outlined future monitoring and explained potential solutions for the future if the medications do not work. The only thing I would change is that Dr Luna could have asked more questions around things like my diet instead of making assumptions. Overall I am happy with the visit.
