I believe that we all have an inner potential to overcome life's obstacles. There are times however when the struggles of our lives hinder our abilities to access our strengths and we feel lost. In working with clients, it is my goal to provide a judgement-free and nurturing environment where it is safe to undertake change and find the way back.
My specialties include addressing trauma, depression and anxiety. Additionally, I work with self esteem, stress management, life phase changes, relationships, including couples and marital counseling, and intimacy. I also have interests in ADHD and food addiction.
I believe that one of humanity's greatest gifts is that of relationships. Therefore, it is imperative that I work WITH my clients and not AT them. Connection is foundational for the areas of spirituality-mind, body and soul. When we feel safe, we trust more. With trust, avoidance decreases and healing begins.
