Julie Skulikidis, FNP

Julie Skulikidis FNP-C graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2015. Julie spent her nursing career at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital where she worked two years on a stroke/telemetry unit and three years in critical care.

Julie obtained her Master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Long Island University in 2019. During her Nurse Practitioner studies, Julie was recognized by the Nurse Practitioner Association of Long Island (NPALI) as the recipient of the Spring 2019 Student Nurse Practitioner scholarship. Julie is a current member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). In addition to her Nursing Degrees, Julie also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Farmingdale State University.

Julie found her love for endocrinology after a parent was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and hypothyroidism as an adult. She strives to help her patients by drawing from her own personal experiences having a loved one diagnosed with these complicated issues. In her spare time, Julie enjoys cooking, crafting, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
