I liked Dr. Kim from the very start, the first impression I got from him was that he was confident, cordial, witty, funny and most all knowledgeable. I went into surgery totally at ease because I knew it would be him fixing me. Show morePain was minimal after surgery so that tells me he did a great job! I would definitely recommend him to family and friends! Going back to him soon for my first colonoscopy. His staff is awesome as well!

Practice director Junuk Kim, MD, FACS, is a double board-certified surgeon with extensive experience in advanced surgical approaches, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
Dr. Kim earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He went on to New York Medical College in Valhalla, to earn his medical degree. Dr. Kim completed a general surgery residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, New York, and also a two-year gastric cancer surgery fellowship at Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. He went on to complete subspecialty training at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

The attitudeto the patient is really great, I had really difficult emergency situation and I did call the morning and in the evening I’ve seen the doctor already, which is great. I didn’t have to wait for a couple of weeks just to schedule an appointment

Being referred to Dr Kim by my neurosurgeon is such a gift . Dr Kim looked at the lump on my back and realized the seriousness of removing it as quickly as possible. He is a humble , patient physician. I did not expect to be treated so well and to have my concern taken so seriously. I would recommend Dr. Kim to anyone with surgical needs or concerns . Dr. Kim took control of treatment and is expediting treatment as soon as possible. My gratitude for Dr. Kim is immeasurable.
