AAt any point in your life when they tell you that you have cancer is a big deal. After trying to get in with two other surgeons, one said that he would take care of me and tell me out at the end I would need to pay cash and then Show moreanother surgeon that was referred. The office staff was beyond rude and inconsiderate and completely unnecessary drama. Then when I get there the first thing I ask is, well, I have to have a colonoscopy bag. He said if I do, I do; if I don’t, I don’t. Please refrain from asking me any more questions, so I sit there and never said another word until I left, came home, and cried. I felt like I had already been through two. I wasn’t sure if I was gonna find anything different or if it was me. I went with my gut and asked for another referral and would do Dr. Kim’s office. The office staff was amazing. Dr. Kim was amazing. Literally went through everything telling me everything step-by-step. What he was gonna do, which was the first surgeon that did that. Let me know we’re a team and we’re gonna get through. This just made me feel like I might actually be able to do this. I would refer him. I would refer his office staff and I would let anyone know just because you have cancer doesn’t mean you have to settle.

The attitudeto the patient is really great, I had really difficult emergency situation and I did call the morning and in the evening I’ve seen the doctor already, which is great. I didn’t have to wait for a couple of weeks just to schedule an appointment
I liked Dr. Kim from the very start, the first impression I got from him was that he was confident, cordial, witty, funny and most all knowledgeable. I went into surgery totally at ease because I knew it would be him fixing me. Pain was minimal after surgery so that tells me he did a great job! I would definitely recommend him to family and friends! Going back to him soon for my first colonoscopy. His staff is awesome as well!

Being referred to Dr Kim by my neurosurgeon is such a gift . Dr Kim looked at the lump on my back and realized the seriousness of removing it as quickly as possible. He is a humble , patient physician. I did not expect to be treated so well and to have my concern taken so seriously. I would recommend Dr. Kim to anyone with surgical needs or concerns . Dr. Kim took control of treatment and is expediting treatment as soon as possible. My gratitude for Dr. Kim is immeasurable.
