Dr. Jurgen Straub, MD

Jurgen Straub, MD, is a doctor of family medicine at Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania. With 12 locations throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Straub proudly serves at Shickshinny Health Center in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania. Practicing for over 10 years, he holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine and prioritizes treating his patients with compassion and respect. 

Dr. Straub earned his medical degree in international health at Ben-Gurion University in Beersheba, Israel. He later relocated to the United States to complete his residency at Overlook Family Medicine in Summit, New Jersey, specializing in primary care. 

Participating as a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Straub provides high-quality care to his patients, taking the time to meet with families and individuals to understand their health concerns and provide them with the care they deserve. 

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Straub enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in activities like hiking, kayaking, and swimming. He appreciates working alongside the team at  Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania and looks forward to meeting the needs of new and current patients.
