Justene Mooney, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who brings her patients both dermatologic expertise and a commitment to quality care. Through her work at Dermatology Associates of Central NJ, she is able to serve patients in Union, Old Bridge, Freehold, and neighboring New Jersey cities.
Justene received her master's degree in nursing from Rutgers University. She then went on to serve as both the assistant director of the emergency department at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, and the assistant director of nursing at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville, New Jersey.
She brings dermatologic expertise and a warm, patient manner to Dermatology Associates of Central NJ. Her knowledge of dermatologic surgery is an asset to both the practice and each patient she sees.
Justene’s medical philosophy is to treat the patient as an individual. She combines that commitment to personalized care with the knowledge of how to medically and surgically treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions. She is trained to treat patients of any age.

I have had good results with the laser treatments; however, they are expensive and obviously not covered by insurance. My complaint has to do with wait time. The office called to see if I could come in earlier, which I did, only to sit in the waiting room for just about a half hour - very frustrating.

Visit felt extremely rushed. I was in and out in 5 minutes. I felt like she was leaving the room before she even got in. When I asked about procedures that were available for out of pocket fees, she was quick to hand me a business card and a pamphlet regarding them. I was so rushed I really didnt get a chance to ask the questions I had in the back of my head. I actually called my husband on my way home because I felt so insignificant after the appointment. Like I was bothering her to even be there. Canceled all appointments for myself and my family. Already found another provider that takes the time to ask and answer questions.
