The practice as whole is very professional. Appointments are made quickly & time spent in the waiting room is not long. I found Justene friendly & more importantly, to the point. Justene Mooney, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who brings her patients both dermatologic expertise and a commitment to quality care. Through her work at Dermatology Associates of Central NJ, she is able to serve patients in Union, Old Bridge, Freehold, and neighboring New Jersey cities.
Justene received her master's degree in nursing from Rutgers University. She then went on to serve as both the assistant director of the emergency department at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, and the assistant director of nursing at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville, New Jersey.
She brings dermatologic expertise and a warm, patient manner to Dermatology Associates of Central NJ. Her knowledge of dermatologic surgery is an asset to both the practice and each patient she sees.
Justene’s medical philosophy is to treat the patient as an individual. She combines that commitment to personalized care with the knowledge of how to medically and surgically treat a wide range of dermatologic conditions. She is trained to treat patients of any age.

Very nice and professional!
I have seen Justene Mooney quite a few times and she is very professional and caring. She takes time to address any concerns and I never feel rushed. My last visit was to remove some precancer. Justine and the two staff that assisted her were excellent.

This is my 3rd or 4th visit with Justene and I am so satisfied with everything about her. She's very caring and thorough and I am happy when she is taking care of my situations. I would recommend her highly to everyone.
Justene is very knowledgeable and listens to her patients. Giving them the first opportunity to talk provides a great relationship and allows her to best diagnose the condition and discuss the course of action. She is always there for me.
Very corporate feel in waiting room (many advertisements for cosmetic procedures, felt like a commercial rather than a doctor's office-the entire place has a cold feel to it, not inviting at all). Appointment seemed rushed. Nurse hurried to complete a procedure (so did the woman who came in before me to collect information). Giving me paperwork to digitally sign as if there were a line of customers waiting in other rooms and I was just another opportunity to complete a procedure to bill the insurance company. Handed me after care instructions, asked me to make another appointment, then said I was “very brave” during the procedure (as if I was a 12 year old waiting for a lollipop-I’m 48). In addition, the paperwork in the online portal explained that the nurse spoke to me about the ABCs of skin care (she didn’t). At no time did a doctor come into the room. I left the office with the impression that they are in the business of making money rather than caring for patients.
