I have been a patient of Dr. Sawyer for many years. I appreciate his professionalism and willingness to explain things in ways I can understand. Although I know he is extremely busy, I never feel rushed. The entire staff creatShow morees a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
I did not have to wait long to be taken back & the Nurse was real nice. Had about a 15 minute wait for Dr Sawyer to examine me but he does real good work. Office help is knowageble & friendly.
Justin Sawyer, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who focuses on general dermatology, skin cancer detection, prevention, and treatment. He offers expert care to patients at Skin Care Specialists in Mesa, Arizona.
Dr. Sawyer is originally from east central Illinois. After graduating valedictorian from Mattoon High School, he attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he majored in biology. He then returned to Illinois, where he received a full congressional scholarship to the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.
After an internship in internal medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Sawyer moved to Arizona for his dermatology training. He has been practicing in Mesa since finishing his dermatology residency at the University of Arizona in 2002 in Tucson.
Dr. Sawyer received the highest score in the country on the American Board of Dermatology recertification exam.
At Skin Care Specialists, Dr. Sawyer enjoys helping his patients understand their skin conditions so that the best course of treatment can be selected. In his free time, he enjoys watching Duke basketball, researching diet and exercise science, and spending time with his wife and their two children.

Wonderful staff and Dr Sawyer takes time to go over questions, and provides a complete exam. I needed a biopsy and never experience any discomfort during the procedure. Highly recommend!
