The dental care we provide is second to none. He volunteers his time and services throughout the community. He works with the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic and its amazing staff to provide dental services to low-income residents.
Dr. Tavakkoli earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1998. He also completed a year-long externship in implantology. He has completed advanced studies at LVI Global, an international institution dedicated to the progress of dentistry and improving the lives of patients. After graduating from Temple University, he practiced in the Philadelphia area before moving to Northern Virginia with my family. Dr. Tavakkoli has been practicing at our present location since 2004.
He is a preferred Lumineers provider, a member of the Sleep Apnea Society, and a Preferred Invisalign® Provider. He has worked with Invisalign since 2000, when it first became available to the public. He has been recognized by Northern Virginia Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine as a Top Dentist and by The Consumers’ Research Council as one of America’s Top Dentists.
On a more personal note, Dr. Tavakkoli is married and has two daughters. He treasures his time with my family. He also enjoys playing soccer, tennis, reading, and is an avid sports fan.

I would strongly recommend Dr Mayr and the hygienists she works with
I wasn’t to satisfied with my appointment we did two X-rays but nothing was done to fix it until my follow up appointment. I know you gotta have approval though the VA. Although she told me the tooth wasn’t infected I felt enough wasn’t done. I felt like a number not a patient.
Loved my visit! Took time to explain things - everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. Didn’t try to upsell things/felt very transparent. Highly recommend !

Dr KamranTavakkoli, was knowledgeable about concerns, his team was very nice and welcoming. The location is easy access from Foggy Bottom metro station or driving or any public transportation. I will go back again and take my family to him.

Dental work is expensive. But the experience with Dr. T, Chelsea, and all staff made the visit worth it. I had my brackets removed and the remainder of my tooth was extracted in the blink of an eye. I had a little swelling but only needed one pain pill. Great work! I look forward to seeing the doctor again next month. The goal is a model smile:)

Dr. Maur is an extremely personable, genuine, and skilled dentist. Dr. Maur has an uncanny ability to immediately disarm you and to alleviate alot of the fears associated with oral procedures. Since I’ve been under her care, I have noticed a significant difference in my overall oral health. Best dentist ever!

Every visit to K Street Dental with Dr. Sumeen Maur isexcellent. She is a friendly and dedicated dentist. Dr. Maur makes every procedure feel like a walk in the park. Her voice is soothing and nice to listen to. I also appreciate her high energy. I highly recommend her for your dental needs.

The new patient cleaning deal was very good, but unfortunately I couldn't afford to have my wisdom teeth removed.
