Kara Bosworth, LMSW

Kara is a Licensed Master Social Worker who graduated from Walden University with a Master’s in Social Work. Kara has work experience in school and clinical settings and experience in the field of crisis response. Kara completed her first internship at a nursing and rehabilitation facility in Philadelphia and her second at a mental health therapy office in Baltimore City. Kara primarily has experience working with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and stress management. As a therapist, Kara encourages her clients to reach their full potential using goal setting and management to accomplish their goals. Kara is here to help and equip her clients with skills, tools/techniques, and resources that can be used to assist them in their daily lives, as well as provide a place where they can be heard and listened to. To achieve this, Kara uses cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), play therapy, and mindfulness with her clients.
