About Karin Skinner, MS

Karin graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and spent 10 years as a child protection services worker at the Department of Family Services in Cheyenne. She has also worked in clinics and residential settings with clients dealing with challenges like serious mental illness, trauma, and involvement with the correctional system. Karen always felt that she need a master's degree to be able to fully support her clients. She recently received her master's in mental health counseling from Walden University and has a Provisional Professional Counseling license. Karin wants each client to know they will always be in charge of their own counseling process - and she will be right there with them, offering a safe space for personal growth and healing. Karen is lucky to spend a lot of time with her two grown children, and they all enjoy going kayaking or hiking together.
