Katie really listens to you! She also cares with a lot of doctors don’t these days they’re burned out they don’t care. They have too much paperwork from insurance companies and they just seem really disinterested or they don’t carShow moree if you’re in pain and agony there’s no empathy in doctors anymore, you’re just a number going in there and they’re like yeah yeah whatever but Katie cares.

She explained my condition simply in terms I could easily understand while showing me, using a model spine, where my problem was, what she was going to do to help relieve my pain and what to expect afterShow more the procedure. She encouraged me to ask questions. So far, everything she said was spot on.

Katie did a good job!
Grand Pain Clinic is the best. Been going to see Katie for over 1-1/2 years and have gone from often debilitating pain to living a relatively normal life, without joint replacement surgery. If you are like me and have an aversion to (somewhat questionable surgical procedures where you take all the risk) I highly recommend Katie for treatment.

The 1st visit was the office visit. She reviewed the test I had done earlier and was competent in explaining what the procedure would accomplish. Katie and her stall were very professional. All my paperwork was done online ( very easily) for 2weeks and I am already feeling somewhat better. Looking forward to my next visit
Katie never gives up on trying to find a way to alleviate your pain. I have a strange back and she works to find a way to help me and I really appreciate it so much! If you have pain, make an appointment with her, you won't be sorry.
I left my appointment with Katie feeling that I was going in the right direction with regard to my knee pain. I feel relieved , in a way, that even if surgery is the option for me I made the right choice in addressing my problem by exploring the options she is recommending.
Katie and Christian are always the consumate professionals. It is always a joy to see them. We drive 4 hours one way to see them, that's how awesome they are.

Katie Hornbaker is the professional for pain control. What I like most about her is how she explains everything and gives you options for your care. Her consultations are scheduled for an hour unlike the typical 10 minutes.
Katie was thorough in going over information about hormones with me. Staff were excellent, everyone was very kind. Katie even gave me a book to help me better understand the subject. I highly recommend Grand Pain Specialist and will be returning myself.

Amazing!! Dr. Hornbaker took the time to listen to my needs and understand my situation in a way that other doctors I have seen over the last ten years have not cared to. She suggested an alternative approach to my treatment that has my best interest in mind. I moved half way across the country recently, she was understanding of the cost and stress involved and designed a treatment plan to mitigate that. The staff here is amazingly helpful and kind. I’m so glad I found her and her team. A++++
