Dr. Von Walter was extremely attentive, she listened to my concerns and asked many clarifying questions. She used simple terminology to convey her message without confusing me any further. She was clear about my treatment options Show moreand explained each option in detail. The office was clean and there was no wait time to be seen. She spent an ample amount of time understanding my history and later in the exam room. This was my first experience at this office and I highly recommend her and the practice.
I absolutely love this practice! Very easy to register and get an appointment. The facility is bright and clean. The PA whom I saw, Kate, is wonderful. I have never been to a gynecology practice that spent 20 minutes before the eShow morexam just going over my history and getting to know me. She took the time to answer my questions and make recommendations. I also like that the staff is all women, and any women’s issue can be addressed. I highly recommend Rockville Gynecology.
About Kathleen Skillin, PA-C, M.M.S
With an extensive background in women’s health, minimally invasive surgery, and internal medicine, Kathleen Skillin, PA-C, MMS, specializes in taking a holistic approach to patient care. Kathleen, or Kate as her patients know her, cares for patients at Rockville Gynecology in Rockville, Maryland.
After earning her undergraduate degree in psychology from Ashford University, which is headquartered in San Diego, Kathleen was accepted into graduate school. She completed her Master of Science in medical sciences from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania, where she graduated with honors at the top of her class. Kathleen also completed her physician-assistant certification while in graduate school.
Kathleen’s patients appreciate her nurturing and caring bedside manner. She believes that the relationships built between patients and providers in women’s health are among the strongest and most enduring of all medical specialties. Kathleen explains that her patients touch her life in profound ways and she’s honored to play a role in their health and well-being.

I really enjoy Kate…and the phlebotomist and Stephanie, ultrasound tech, were wonderful - But I have referred someone before and they never got a call back…And I called to make an appointment and left a message… And had to end up calling again because no one ever called me back… So that kinda takes away from the experience.
