Kathleen J. Smith, MD, is a highly skilled, board-certified dermatologist, immunodermatologist and dermatopathologist at Dermatology Specialists of Atlanta in Decatur, Georgia. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field with more than 25 years of medical experience.
Dr. Smith is board certified in dermatology, dermatological immunology, diagnostic and laboratory immunology, and dermatopathology. She received her medical training at the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa.
She was a veteran and completed her residency at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Smith finished up her medical training with a fellowship at Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C., and Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Smith maintains her advanced medical credentials by taking continuing education courses to stay current in the latest advances in dermatology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and Society of Contact Dermatology, and one of very few board-certified immunodermatologists nationally. I saw Ms Vivian first for a Dermal infusion facial. She and the service were great. She showed me the gunk (dead skin debris )that she got iff my face..wow. My face has been peeling for last few days so the fasial is still wrking! Vivian was professional,informative and comfortable to talk with. Next I saw Ms Kia and she began the PRP procedure process.
