I am very happy with my visit with Dr. Jones and staff. I was able to get in same day due to a cancelation which was great because I was very scared about my prolapse. I did have to wait 1:30 minutes to be seen but, I don't mind tShow morehat when it comes to a good doctor who spends time with their patients. I believe I was the last patient of the day and the office closed while I was there but, no one rushed me out the door. Dr. Jones was very nice and professional. She took her time and explained everything to my husband and I in a way we understood. She made sure all our questions were answered and she put me at ease with my situation.
Dr. Jones took time to talk with me and answer all of my questions before and after my exam interjecting appropriate humor to lighten the conversation. I asked her if she could recommend holistic options for my condition. AlthoughShow more she did provide me with traditional alliopathic treatments first, she took the time to review ingredients in a product containing essential oils and other natural ingredients I found online and give her opinion. My experience as I’ve adopted a more holistic approach to my health is that most M.D.s are completely resistant when I ask for advice on more natural solutions to medical issues. Dr. Jones was open-minded and honest. I felt respected. She will be my Urogynecologist as long as I am alive.
Kathy Y. Jones MD, FPMRS, FACOG, is the founder of Orlando Urogynecology, a private practice dedicated to female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, better known as Urogynecology. Dr. Jones was the first female urogynecologist in the Central Florida area. She has devoted her Orlando, Florida, practice to providing advanced treatment to women who suffer from urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
Dr. Jones uses the latest technology and techniques to help diagnose and treat all issues that affect female health. She offers the da Vinci® method to perform minimally invasive hysterectomies, and she’s equipped with the lastest therapies to help with vaginal health restoration.
Dr. Jones received her medical degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University Medical Center in New York and completed her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Wayne State University Detroit Medical Center. In 1999, Dr. Jones returned to the Orlando area.
Dr. Jones is a board-certified OB/GYN and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Urogynecological Society, the Florida Obstetric and Gynecologic Society, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Jones currently has privileges at Advent Health Orlando, Adventh Health Celebration Health, and Sand Lake Surgery Center.

Great Female Doctor! It took me years to find a good Gynecologist after turning 65. She has great bedside manner & explains things in depth. I like a doctor who tells it like it is. For us women who are post menopausal I highly recommend her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jones for approximately 6 years. I appreciate her and her staff, they are always pleasant and accommodating. There have been a few times that I have had to wait on Dr. Jones but when she is with you, you get her full attention and she does not rush through your visit. She explains everything in detail and makes sure you understand. So if you have to wait be patient as she gives all her patients the time that they need and deserve.
