Although this was only my second appointment, the lab work she ordered was comprehensive and provided tremendous clarity about where I am currently and how we can formulate a plan moving forward. Her enthusiasm for patient care is contagious. Too often, women feel ignored, dismissed, or rushed by healthcare providers. With Dr. Kash, I felt truly heard. She was present, engaged, and took the time to listen and explain. That alone has eased much of my anxiety about what lies ahead as I enter perimenopause. Having a knowledgeable partner to help navigate what can feel like such a gray area for women is incredibly reassuring. I am grateful for the care I’ve received so far and genuinely look forward to the journey we are embarking on together.

Kelly-Anne Shedd-Hartman, DO aka Dr. KASH offers holistic, patient-focused OB/GYN care to women of all ages at Swor Women’s Care in Sarasota, Florida. Since 2014, Dr. KASH has helped her patients optimize their wellness with expert OB/GYN services as well as nutritional counseling, exercise, and natural healthcare.
Dr. KASH completed her undergraduate degree in biology with minors in human anatomy and neuroscience at Colorado State University. She went on to earn her medical degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida. Dr. KASH served her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
Dr. KASH has a particular interest in prenatal health and works closely with patients to help them stay healthy during pregnancy as well as improving neonatal and infant safety. Her holistic approach to improving patient health works to give women an understanding of their bodies so they can make better wellness choices. She also provides outstanding preventive care and evaluation and treatment of gyn problems. She is a top-rated gyn surgeon and specializes in advanced microlaparoscopic procedures.
When not providing expert women’s health care services, Dr. KASH enjoys spending time actively, outdoors with her husband, daughter and pampering her many pets.

Dr. Shedd-Hartman is an excellent physician. She is very compassionate, a great listener, and takes the time to answer questions thoroughly. She prefers a holistic approach while also explaining other treatment options. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new doctor.

This was my first meeting with Dr. Shedd based on a referral from my primary physician. She was personable, took the time to explain in a clear and understanding way. I intend to keep De. Shedd as my GYN.

I did not see Dr. Shedd, I found out from the nurse Medicare only pays for an Gyn annual visit every other year. So since I saw her last year, they would not pay for this year’s visit. I then made an appointment for next year. I have been a patient of Dr. Shedd for a couple of years now and she’s professional, compassionate, and thorough.
