My office visit went well, felt very comfortable with Dr Wa, he explained everything very well, I could understand. told me he was prescribing Tramadol, It was a narcotic, He was only giving me a 30 day supply. Wanted to see me inShow more 30 days before the visit they would do a urine test. After waiting two days for the prescription to be called in I called the office, Spoke with Karen, She informed me she’s going to check my record and call me back. She calls me back Within the next 30 minutes, Which I appreciated at the time, Proceeds to inform me that I was not prescribed any medication, was just looking for pain medication, I felt offended because the only pain medication I have taken is regular Tylenol The next day, I get a call from Karen informing me that they are calling in a prescription for Tramadol. Tell Karen that this was very unprofessional, being told 1st that nothing on the notes that I was prescribed and now I was, i did not feel comfortable with the doctor at this point with lack of communication to his staff and me being treated like I’m just looking for pain medication when I know that’s not the case Today I stopped to pick up my medication. During the office visit, I was told it was a 30 day supply , To take once a day, recommend that I take it at night What a surprise it was for me to open the bottle, read the instructions, 90 day supply, To take three times a day or As needed. Informed Karen that I would not be returning to this doctors office
My experience with this office is excellent. I have only been going here for about 4-5 months but in those short months I have come to know the staff who have been so kind going out of their way to accommodate me in whatever I neeShow mored. They are kind, understanding and always there to answer any questions I may have. Excellent!!! Dr Kenneth Wu is my Doctor and I am so grateful that he was recommended to me. He not only answers all my questions but he explains them and gives me alternative ways for different treatments. His knowledge is outstanding. I am sooo blessed to have found him. Kenneth Wu, MD, is a board-certified physician in interventional pain management and anesthesiology. He is the chief medical officer at Procura Pain and Spinein The Woodlands, Texas.
Dr. Wu earned his medical degree at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Medical School in Lubbock. He then completed his internship and anesthesiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by a fellowship in interventional pain management at Rush University in Chicago. To better help pain patients with coexisting substance issues, Dr. Wu recently obtained a third board certification in addiction medicine.
Prior to joining Procura Pain and Spine, Dr. Wu was the director for the Geriatric Pain Center at UT Physicians Center for Healthy Aging, where he managed degenerative spinal and nonspinal chronic pain as well as compassionate pain palliation for geriatric patients near the end of life. Dr. Wu also served as the chief interventional pain management physician at Memorial Hermann TIRR Medical Center to treat patients with neurological conditions, such as spinal cord injury, stroke, and complex pain after surgery and trauma.
Dr. Wu, who has been in practice since 2009, has a wealth of knowledge in the treatment of chronic pain syndromes throughout the body and is not limited to the spine. His primary clinical interests are persistent post-surgical pain, nerve and spinal cord injury pain, geriatric or elderly pain, spinal pain, headaches, abdominal pain, and pelvic pain.
He currently holds an adjunct professor position for the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Wu also serves as a consultant for the Texas Medical Board.

I have been suffering with lower back pain for 2 years under the care of another pain doctor. My PCP suggested i try Dr.Wu at Procura Pain. After intently listening, testing, consulting and observation the plan was explained to me. A plan was laid out And the daycare surgery was completed. Relief cam 7 day's after the sugery as Dr. Wu said it would. First Relief I've had in 2 years. It didn't solve all of the things that 81 years has tacked on to this old body, but it sure has made my life easier. Dr. Wu is working on some of the rest. I have high confidence in Procurapains doctors and staff our remaining years will be a lot more comfortable under thier care.

Knowledgeable of finding source of my pain and explained the problem to me so that I understand + and - of the solution. Dr. Wu also explain some alternatives. His staff has been helpful and intuitive in assisting me always with a smile and patience.
Dr. Wu and staff provide excellent care. They are extremely caring, respectful and professional. They also are very on time with appointments and returning messages. Dr. Wu is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable and listens to your concerns and addresses them. Highly recommend this practice.
Dr Wu is very thorough in explaining possible procedures to minimize and/or eliminate lower back pain. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand the procedures.
I just love Dr. Wu and his staff. They have taken great care with me over the years and I’m sure the future will be the same great service! They also accommodate my service dog. Always a plus in my book
Dr Wu was patient and listened to my concerns and ansered my questions. I was given a list of options and I was not pressured into one thing necessarily over another. The pros and cons of each was given.
Dr. Kenneth Wu with Procura Spine and Pain has made such nice and professional full service spine and pain management company. He will take time to listen and address your needs while trying to keep you safe. He has even hired a company to go over all of your medications you take to make sure there are no adverse interactions and the knowledgeable pharmacist will oversee your medications and call you and teach you about the medications you take. Dr. Wu and his team are absolutely the best out there!

After years of unnecessary suffering from high levels of pain caused by multifocal Avascular Necrosis, Dr. Wu and his team have been able to make my pain levels manageable, restoring my the ability to walk again after years of being bedridden. If you have unmanageable pain, and want to have a better quality of life, I recommend starting with Dr Wu and his team. I have explored treatment options provided by doctors on both coastlines, and none come close to the quality of treatment I have found in the offices of Procura Pain & Spine.
Excellent. My husband and & I have been seeing Dr Wu for several years. He is always warm, friendly, kind & understanding. He listens to our concerns and explains his advice in detail. We highly recommend Dr Wu & his wonderful staff. Everyone is friendly and happy to help.

Dr. Wu is a very caring Doctor. He always has his patients best care in mind. He has worked diligently on providing the best care and the best treatments for me. He is cautious and conservative but, progresses the treatment plan as needed. I very highly respect him as a Doctor and as a person!
I was able to be seen quickly. All of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Wu took the time to talk to me and understand my pain. All I really wanted was a steroid shot he was able to do that quickly
Dr. Wu has saved my life! After many years and surgeries I was opioid dependent. Other doctors just prescribed more and stronger drugs. However Dr. Wu and his staff actively sought alternative medicines and found a treatment that truly gave me back my life. It's given me hope again and a normal healthy lifestyle. I've been with Dr. Wu for 6 years, he has been an excellent doctor, he has diagnosed the problem each time and either provided the solution permanently or temporarily until I needed the surgery, I have had 4 surgeries, 2 by outside surgeons, 2 implants by Dr. Wu, numerous injections, I would not use anyone else, Dr. Wu has a excellent staff that plays a major role to make this possible. I have a spinal disease with nerve damage and I would and do only recommend Dr. Kenneth Wu.
Dr. Wu and Mike will help you get back to life. With CRPS we are always in pain but he has options to reduce that pain. He understands CRPS and all that comes with it!
