Dr. Jennifer Hoang was very knowledgeable and patient with me as I asked several questions about various eye conditions that did and didn’t apply to me. Within the first minute of meeting her, she offered to tighten some loose scrShow moreews on my glasses that I hadn’t even noticed until she pointed them out and instantly had them fixed. I felt very comfortable all throughout my examination and after as well when Caylyn assisted me with finding a suitable pair of frames. Caylyn found several pairs of glasses for me to try on according to the preferences I expressed to her and also helped me understand my insurance coverage and did not put any pressure on me to purchase frames in the moment. Thanks to them, I had a completely stress-free, incredibly pleasant optometrist visit.
Received a referral from an acquaintance in Danville. It was a very professional and through visit. I moved to East Bay from Midwest so I was overdue for eye exam. Been putting off due work & now Covid. Had a very good exam and tShow morehe facility had reviewed my insurance. Was able to get three pair of glasses. Ones with special lenses and frames for sports or work and 35% discount from insurance plan. Awesome. The office has Covid protocols and cleans in between patients. Doctor explains all procedures as well as discussed how my lifestyle and vision interact. I usually have white coat nerves with doctors but came away from this experience feeling more educated about my vision health. Highly recommend!

After completing her bachelor’s degree in food science and technology at the University of California, Davis, Dr. Hoang was accepted into a competitive optometry program. She earned her doctorate of optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Hoang is super professional. She carefully examines your eye; patiently explaining whatever you need to know to take a good care of your eyes, and when she’s explaining you feel like your best friend is helping you understand a topic! The staffs are also super helpful and friendly.

She was incredibly kind and compassionate about my situation, listened to my concerns, gave me a thorough examination, treated me with respect and ensured that I had the best care and information to address my concerns. Fantastic experience! Dr. Hoang quickly dialed in a prescription to improve my vision. She also discovered a minor eye infection that had been bothering me, only after sleeping, and had forgotten to mention. Now on medication to cure. I highly recommend Eyes on Hartz! Eyeglass showroom staff is so friendly and attentive, providing candid feedback on frame selection, which I definitely needed.
