She did an excellent job cleaning the teeth and also communicating with both of us what she is doing well and what could useShow more a little work. She was very friendly and personable! Dr. Denise Nguyen is an accomplished orthodontist with over 25 years of experience in providing traditional braces, Invisalign?, lingual braces, LightForce braces, and more. She takes her time with each patient, carefully listening to their concerns and explaining treatment options in detail.
After initially earning a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, Dr. Nguyen pursued her dream of becoming a dentist, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA where she graduated magna cum laude. She then went on to earn her certificate in orthodontics from Howard University in Washington, DC. Dr. Nguyen is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Northern Virginia Dental Society. She is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
When she is not improving her patients’ smiles, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, playing piano, and giving back to her local community, including involvement with Mission of Mercy VA, Hope for Tomorrow, VietFest and more.

As much as we love Dr. Nathalie…we were extremely disappointed with this last visit. The technician who cleaned my child’s teeth was extremely too rough and caused her pain, also made her uncomfortable with questions about their Apple Watch and phone. I almost didn’t come back for this apt since we had a snow cancellation back in January for an ortho apt we were NEVER told was canceled, after having to confirm the appointment over 3 times!!! No one ever called to let us know they were closed for snow nor called us back to make another appointment. It’s incredible difficult to get anyone on the phone there. Nice location and office- just isn’t very client friendly.

Dr Kil no longer works at this practice. My son has seen four different orthodontists in this practice in 9 months. Each has a different plan. He has been in braces for almost 3 years. No end in sight. The orthodontists are overworked and have no time to speak to parents or see patients on a timely basis.

Oasis is a very well-run and professional practice. The hygienists are always capable, patient, and kind to my kids. Dr. Phaeton is wonderful. I know my kids are in great hands.
Dr. Phaeton is always professional and takes great care of our child. My one wish is that she'd done a bit better job color matching the crown on my child's front tooth to her other teeth. It is noticeably different (not horribly so, but definitely noticeable), and we will certainly be more careful about double checking the color match when a permanent crown is put on when she is older.
My son was playing at his summer camp and hit his mouth. The bracket from the braces was enlarged in his top lip. The staff was so caring but efficient with their course of action. After a few X-rays, his lip was free in seconds. I have been with Dr. Phaeton since she started her practice in Falls Church and every experience keeps my children happy. Keep up the good work guys, you’re appreciated!

Friendly, fast, and easy service!
This was my 2 yr old's first time and he was not happy, but the staff were kind and able to do their job quickly despite him crying and fussing. I was probably more stressed out than the dentist and hygenist were. Extra points for the gift bag- he is still playing with the plastic motorcycle he got, and he loved the book selection in the waiting room. Will absolutely be back!
