About Kimberly Hatler

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner and see patients via telehealth in TN and CO. I treat depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and a variety of other psychiatric issues and provide medication management. I treat ages 10 and up. My specialties are children, young adults, and pregnant/lactating women. I find that giving individuals responsibility for their own care is empowering and therapeutic. I act as a guide, but ultimately the client is in charge. If a patient requests a medication or treatment that is reasonable and appropriate, I have no trouble allowing them to have final choice. If the client asks for a treatment that I do not think is the best choice, I spend time educating the client in a treatment plan that is more appropriate. My initial appointments are long (about an hour) to give new clients time to be heard, as the client's perspective is the most important factor guiding treatment. I am LBGTIQA+ affirming and welcome clients from all walks of life into my practice.
