Klaudia Darlak is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Premier Obesity Management in Lombard. She helps patients reach lasting, healthy weight loss through compassionate, evidence-based care.

Klaudia works closely with Dr. Ridha Chakeer, who is board certified in both Obesity Medicine and Family Medicine. Together they have cared for thousands of patients on their weight loss journeys. Learning directly from Dr. Chakeer’s expertise in obesity medicine has shaped how she practices. She builds personalized plans that may include FDA-approved medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide, along with nutrition guidance, lifestyle coaching, and ongoing support. She treats weight as part of each patient’s overall health, not as an isolated number.

Her background prepared her well for this work. At Academic Endocrinology, she cared for pediatric and adult patients with hormonal and metabolic conditions, which gave her a strong foundation in how the body regulates weight, blood sugar, and metabolism. Before that, she worked as a registered nurse at Northwest Community Hospital in the Women & Infants and Medical-Surgical units. As a nurse practitioner, she has also cared for patients in pediatrics, neonatology, and medical aesthetics.

Klaudia earned her Master of Science in Nursing, with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration, from Northern Kentucky University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University and a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from National University of Health Sciences. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (FNP-BC) and holds active APRN and RN licenses in Illinois.

Klaudia is fluent in English and Polish. She is passionate about culturally sensitive care, and she wants every patient to leave her office feeling heard, supported, and equipped with the tools to succeed.
