Kristen Jacobs, PMHNP, is a psychiatric nurse practitioner practicing at Clarity Psychiatry Care in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and she wants to congratulate you on taking the first step toward prioritizing your mental health. Kristen earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Penn State University before completing a post-master’s degree at Liberty University, specializing as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. For the past six years, she has worked as a nurse practitioner primarily in urgent care and primary care settings. However, she soon realized that her true passion lies in helping patients talk about their mental health and find solutions, which led her to dedicate her career to this field – it’s so rewarding! 

Kristen’s areas of expertise include anxiety, depressive disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, PMDD, and perinatal mental health. As your psychiatric care provider, her goal is to truly listen, empathize, and collaborate with you to develop the most effective, comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your needs. She takes a patient-centered, holistic approach, considering factors such as nutrition, sleep, exercise, spirituality, and social influences, as these all contribute to our mental well-being.
