I'm Kristy Brooten, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Mind Body Soul Psychiatry. I offer compassionate, evidence-based care for adolescents through adults. I take a whole-person, trauma-informed, and affirming approach, blending medication management with psychotherapeutic support tailored to each individual’s needs. My practice emphasizes empowerment, collaboration, and affirmation of neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ identities. I’ve worked across medical and psychiatric settings and integrate modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused care to help clients navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, and more. I value authentic connection and partner with patients to co-create treatment plans that support healing, growth, and resilience.
