Kruti Dajee, MD, is one of the skilled ophthalmologists practicing at Greater Dallas Retina in McKinney, Texas.
She grew up in the greater Dallas area and completed medical and sub-specialty training in the metroplex. Dr. Dajee always envisioned herself as a true community physician and yearned to give back to the community in which she grew up. She grew up in Plano, Texas, and graduated as a President’s Scholar from Southern Methodist University Summa Cum Laude.
After completing medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where she enjoyed being class president for four years and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, she began her post-doctoral training with an internship in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas and then completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern.
During her time in ophthalmology residency, she served on the Chief Resident Council and, during her second year, won a research award. Dr. Dajee completed her surgical retina fellowship at UT Southwestern as well, where she led the retina service at the two largest county hospitals in the metroplex. This experience gave her the depth and breadth of knowledge in the management of the most complex retinal and macular diseases.
Dr. Dajee enjoys spending time with her husband, who is her high school sweetheart, and her two young daughters. She is a trained classical Indian dancer and loves dancing, running, and spending time outside.

She is a very good doctor. Always explains everything that it’s going to happen. If you’re going to have a procedure the staff is very friendly and courteous. I recommend this practice to anyone.
