Dr. Daniel Kyu Yang attended the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) for both college and dental school. For his undergraduate degree, he double majored in molecular, cell, and developmental biology and psychobiology. Following his 2007 graduation from dental school, Dr. Yang completed a two-year residency program at the Veterans Affairs Hospital at Sepulveda.

He continues to further his education with professional courses, such as those in the Six Month Smiles and Invisalign orthodontic treatments, advanced oral surgery, and endodontics. Dr. Yang is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.

Born in South Korea, Dr. Yang spent his youth in the Washington, D.C. area before relocating to Los Angeles with his family at the age of ten. In his free time, Dr. Yang enjoys hiking and visiting the L.A. Zoo with his wife and two sons. He lives in the greater Los Angeles area with his family (including his dog who rules the house).
