I absolutely LOVE this office!! Starting in the Front with Maryanne who is absolutely amazing, she is so sweet and personable she really makes you feel so comfortable. Then in the back the great new nurse is also so friendly and pShow moreersonable, then to the doctors who make you feel so comfortable and safe with any complications that occure! Dr. Lee delivered my sweet baby girl who was a happy healthy baby, after a complicated pregnancy. I highly recommend this office it feels like a little family that you get to visit while your pregnant!!
Dr. Powell is amazing. She is very easy to talk to, takes her time and doesn’t make you feel rushed. She explains everything so it’s easy to understand and is very open and honest. I had been with my previous Dr for 10 years and iShow moret was hard for me to switch due to insurance but Dr. Powell and her staff made me feel right at home from the minute I walked in the door. So very thankful I found her and her practice.
Lana Powell, MD, provides personalized care to her patients at Comprehensive Women’s Health, with locations in Oxford and Birmingham, Michigan. She is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with more than 20 years of experience.
A Michigan native, Dr. Powell has remained in her home state throughout her career. She attended the Wayne State University of Medicine in Detroit and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, where she continues to be a part of the attending staff. She was also previously a faculty physician at the University of Michigan, specializing in general obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Powell is known for having a very warm bedside manner and making her patients feel at home. Her extensive experience in the field of gynecology has given her the capacity to discern her patient’s concerns and needs. Dr. Powell is the only doctor I’ve ever encountered that I can relate to and that talks to me as an equal. She’s fantastic and I know without a doubt she is doing what’s best for me. The staff members are great. They are super friendly and I love the receptionist, Marianne (hopefully didn’t butcher the spelling).

Dr. Powell and her team is the best. I always recommend for anyone looking for a ob/gyn. I have been a patient for over 10 years. She has delivered my 2 boys. I am able to talk, not feel rushed. I feel that i am listened to. That my concerns are valid, and i dont feel bad leaving the office. The staff is amazing, i never have to worry about calling and have a rushed phone call.
