With over 15 years of experience as a physician assistant, LaToya specializes in internal medicine, orthopedics, dermatology, and psychiatry. Her journey in healthcare began at California State University San Bernardino, where she earned her undergraduate degree before completing her physician assistant training at Charles Drew University in Los Angeles.
Beyond conventional medicine, she is deeply passionate about holistic care. As a studying clinical herbalist and a certified postpartum doula, she integrates both modern and traditional healing practices to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

DNP Abernathy has a wonderful bedside manner, which makes it easy to speak and openly share details about why I was there. The front office is always clean, smells nice and the clerk is always happy and friendly.
It was a good experience, LaToya was in the room within a few minutes. I was able to express my concerns and she was able to answer/provide insight on the possibilities. I was in and out of my appt within an hour, which included bloodwork which had a quick turn around on the results as well.
