Dr. Laura Bahorski, OD

Bringing over 20 years of clinical expertise, Primary Eyecare Associates is proud to have Dr. Laura Bahorski join our practice in 2022. She brings with her a passion for full scope eye care.

Dr. Bahorski completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at Michigan State University (where she was a member of the pre-optometry club) and received her doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 2000. Her extensive internships at the Detroit VA, Portsmouth Naval Base in New Hampshire, and Mid-Florida Eye Center provided her with advanced experience in managing ocular disease, contact lens fittings, and surgical co-management, working closely with both optometrists and ophthalmologists.

Dr. Bahorski is an expert in complex contact lens fittings, including multi-focal torics and myopia control soft lenses. She provides comprehensive treatment and management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eyes, and allergies.

Committed to providing the highest quality care, Dr. Bahorski continually updates her skills and remains certified in the latest advancements and technology. Her goal is simple: to provide personalized, individual care that consistently exceeds patient expectations.

In her free time, Dr. Bahorski enjoys gardening, sailing, traveling, MSU football, and Detroit sports. She loves spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Snoop.
