Laura Poskochil, LMSW, LMHP Adventurer at heart, therapist by trade, homebody by choice. Laura brings authenticity, warmth, and over a decade of experience to her work with individuals and families. With a Bachelor's in Psychology focused on cultural diversity and a Master's in Social Work, she has spent much of her career supporting young adults facing homelessness and families involved in the child welfare system. At Nebraska Peace of Mind, Laura offers a flexible and collaborative therapeutic approach. She believes that growth doesn’t have to look one specific way and tailors each session to meet clients where they are, whether they prefer goal-oriented strategies or deeper emotional exploration. Her work integrates evidence-based practices including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, somatic techniques, and mindfulness.
