Laurel does an excellent job in communicating the best methods to address the issues that are causing pain and discomfort, so that the therapy she administers can be aligned with what patients can follow up with at home.

Understanding, helpful and knowlegable
Laurel always begins my sessions by observing my walking into her treatment room. Then asking how it feels compared to last session, how the exercises are going. When treatment begins she loosens me up with massage to all surrounding/supporting tissue and then the rubber meets the road with flexi on and extension and measurements of each. She usually gives me one or two mor exercises to to.
We talked a lot which wasn’t a problem but Laurel liked to talk using her hands and she would stop therapy sometimes when she was explaining something.
Good manual treatment. Suggestions for stretches to do at home.
I like Laurel. She sits and listens to me and addresses my concerns and pain. She gives me exercises to try at home.( Plus, she likes sports and she’s enjoyable to talk sports with.)
Laurel addresses my issues with care and competence and listens carefully while we discuss ways to improve and resolve the sources of pain and discomfort. I always feel better after my pt session with her.

After my initial intake exam, I felt Laurel performed an extensive accessment . Upon her physical exam she was able to identify my problem areas and developed a reasonable treatment plan and goal . She demonstrated an exercise plan to practice and home-for me. The office staff was friendly and she quickly scheduled my future appt and quickly produce a printed an appointment ledger for me. The Manual Method of physical therapy works so much better than the traditional physical therapy where the therapist just puts the patient through various exercises. Manual Physical therapy helps to break down scar tissue after knee surgeries by actually manually manipulating the areas where the scar tissue has formed. Couple that with targeted exercises and the desired results, such as full rotation, are achieved quicker and better.
