Lauren Spathias, DMD

Lauren Spathias, DMD, is a general and pediatric dentist at Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, providing complete oral health care to people of all ages in San Antonio and Helotes, Texas. 

Dr. Spathias studied at Auburn University in Alabama, earning her Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences. After graduation, she enrolled at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, and obtained her dental degree.

Before joining the Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces team, Dr. Spathias served at several pediatric dental offices in Kennewick, Washington. These experiences taught her how to support the oral health of children and teens through preventive care and patient education.

As a general and pediatric dentist, Dr. Spathias diagnoses and treats most oral health conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and oral abscesses. She also provides orthodontics to tweens, teens, and adults with metal braces and Invisalign® clear aligners.

Dr. Spathias loves getting to know her patients. She treats everyone like family and makes time to understand their symptoms and goals.
