About Lea Hughes, LCSW

Lea Anna has a special interest in working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds who have experienced trauma. Lea Anna is trained in and utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help facilitate the brains natural healing processes. Often when trauma occurs, information can get stuck or stored in the brain in unhelpful ways which continue to affect a person in their present day life. She works according to the client’s individual needs to help facilitate information processing, thus reliving the negative effects of trauma and the negative beliefs that go with it.
