Leilah Hunt

Aloha! I have worked in the health field, in various positions, for more than twenty-five years, primarily in the area of mental health. Even after all this time, the resiliency and the power of the human mind and heart still astound me. My personal mission statement in life is Aspire to inspire excellence. To be able to provide the best quality care to others, I must become the best version of myself. I began my nursing career as an LPN at the Utah State Hospital after completing MTECs LPN program. I graduated with a bachelor degree in nursing from Weber State University and a bachelor degree in biology from Utah Valley University, both with high honors. I completed my MSN/DNP graduate studies along the PMHNP track at Gonzaga University. I believe in a holistic approach to healthcare- treating the whole person- mind, body, and spirit.
