Lesley has been part of our pediatric pulmonary team for more than ten years and has practiced in a
pulmonary setting for over twenty years. Her education started as a proud Texas Tech Red Raider for
her nursing prerequisites with her ADN (RN) in nursing in 1995 at Angelo State University, BSN in 1997,
Master’s in 2000 (Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist) and a Post-master’s with her certification as a
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2004 at UTHSCSA.
She has served on the board for the local chapter of NAPNAP for many years as well as a member of the Junior League of San Antonio where she has developed and implemented health and wellness programs for the community.
She continues to pass on her knowledge to future PNPs by mentoring students in the office year-round. She loves her
pediatric pulmonary patients and families and strives to find the best options for everyone to achieve
improved quality of life. She specializes in asthma/allergy, chronic lung disease, rare pulmonary
disorders, sleep medicine, complex medical conditions and NICU graduates.
In her spare time, Lesley loves to spend time with family and friends, find any music related events, walk her dog, find the best foodie spots and travel with her husband John. She loves to entertain and decorate for the holidays.
She is a small-town girl at heart but loves her San Antonio!! She is available M-F for new consults,
follow-ups and the morning walk-in clinic in the Shavano Park location.

She doesn't seem to understand the connection between nutrition / specific B vitamins on neurological issues
I love the Specialist here they are all wonderful and so nice to me and my kids every time we go!
Our visits are always quick, easy and effective. My daughter gets what she needs and everyone hears my concerns out to ensure she stays as safe and healthy as possible.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Hansen. She is an incredibly professional and caring provider. She had a very in-depth knowledge of my sleep apnea history and made some great recommendations. She is truly the best of the best.
