My great experience starts with the friendly and thoughtful staff. There is a short time, less than ten minutes, until you are called for your visit. All the staff are very professional but still warm/friendly and polite. Dr SilvaShow more is one of my fav Drs as she is friendly and positive. She cares about her patients— you can tell as she greets you & asks how you are doing.. She has read your chart—knows your concern and speaks to them. Linda Silva, PA-C, is an experienced, board-certified physician assistant at Skin Care Specialists with locations in Tempe, Arizona. Her love of skincare brought her to dermatology, and she has over a decade's worth of experience in the field.
Originally from California, Linda started her career as a medical assistant in dermatology. Her desire to continue her medical knowledge led her to Texas, where she graduated with honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston with a Bachelor of Science in physician assistant studies.
She then earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha with a specialization in oncology and hematology. Her continued interest in aesthetics prompted her to go back to school to become a licensed esthetician, certified laser technician, and laser safety officer, which she completed in 2019.
Linda is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds diplomatic status in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She joined Glenn H. Brown, M.D., Dermatology, in November of 2014.
Away from the office, Linda enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
