Lisa Peterson, ACNP, FNP, PMHNP

Lisa Peterson is a triple board-certified nurse practitioner, holding certifications as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-C). She is the owner and founder of Colorado Direct Psychiatric Care (CDPC), a telehealth-only practice serving women throughout Colorado. Lisa's approach is built on the belief that mental health and hormonal health are deeply connected — and that women deserve care that treats them together, not in separate silos. Through CDPC, she provides integrated psychiatric and hormone care, allowing for truly individualized treatment plans. Before founding CDPC, Lisa spent nearly a decade working as a hospitalist, gaining deep experience in acute and complex medical care. This background gives her a broad clinical perspective that informs how she evaluates and treats her patients today. She earned her nursing education at Duke University and Liberty University.
