Lizabeth Fiedler, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Westchester Putnam Gastroenterology. She is committed to providing patients living in and around Carmel, New York, with high-quality, unparalleled care.
Dr. Fiedler received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, followed by a residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital. She later completed her gastroenterology fellowship at the Montefiore Medical Center, the university hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in New York City.
Dr. Fiedler has been in practice for over twenty years, and her clinical expertise includes all gastroenterology conditions. She has specific interests in acid reflux disease, constipation, hepatitis C, irritable bowel syndrome, and ulcerative colitis. To serve a more diverse patient population, Dr. Fiedler is fluent in Spanish and English.

While we're talking about travel or favorite restaurants Dr. Brenner is still discussing how I'm feeling and getting updates on my health. He doesn't miss anything. He never rushes me and answers every question I have. I've been a patient of Dr. Brenner's for over 20 years.

Dr Fiedler is very warm, friendly and most important very knowledgeable. She listened to all my concerns and did all the appropriate tests. Dr. Fiedler went beyond what I expected by taking samples of tissues through the colonoscopy and endoscopy to have a clear understanding of my case. I'm so impressed by her thoroughness, and I have been to 3 other Gastro doctors over the years, that I will keep Dr. Fiedler as my Gastro health doctor. The extra plus is the great friendly staff!

Dr Fiedler has excellent listening skills which i think is invaluable as part of the assessment of patients diagnosis. She is thorough, honest professional, kind and compassionate. She educates throughout her physical exam so you are not left wondering what is happening. My questions were answered before i even asked them. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a GI consult
