I discovered Dr. Livingston after my son referred me to him following a negative experience I had with a different dentist the week before. I am so grateful that he did! They were patient, efficient, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in detail and answer all of my questions. In fact, I felt as though I was sitting in a dental master class while I was in the chair! I learned so much about my dental health, dental health in general, the condition of my mouth, proper dental care, and even the important connection between dental health and heart health. I received so much valuable information that I honestly wish I had known long before reaching my 60s. What impressed me most was that I never felt rushed. They took their time to make sure I understood what was happening and why. After my appointment, I actually sat in my car for a few moments reflecting on everything I had learned and thinking about how much of this important information I had unfortunately never heard before. This was, without question, the absolute best dental experience I have ever had in my life. I am so glad and grateful to say that I truly feel like I have found my dentist for life! After serving as the vice president and clinical partner of one of the largest dental service organizations in America, general dentist Lynn A. Livingston, DDS, brings more than 25 years of invaluable experience to the community of Decatur, Georgia, at Dental Care Center of Decatur.
Dr. Livingston graduated from Central Michigan University before attending the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, where he received his DDS. He then completed a hospital-based residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. After completing his training, Dr. Livingston practiced in Michigan and Virginia before moving to Georgia.
Dr. Livingston has been recognized with a number of awards for his accomplishments in dentistry, including the title of Top Gun Dentist from 2011 to 2018, an honor earned through exemplary dental care, dedication to mentorship programs, and philanthropy.
Dr. Livingston is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Northern Dental District of Georgia. He’s also a member of the OKU Honor Society, an honor bestowed on only the top 1% of dentists nationwide.

Came in for a six month cleaning this morning. I had Tasha as my dental tech. Loved her bedside manner and her pleasantness would recommend her highly. Quick and easy appointment Dr. Livingston fast and accurate.

I love Dr. Lynn Livingston and all the people who work for him. I have a certain amount of fear going to dentists. At Dental Care I feel truly taken care of.
After dealing with the update of my deep cleaning follow up that I had last year, I felt judge on how I wasn’t told on how to use my electric toothbrush correctly. The whole time in my life I was brushing my teeth incorrectly manually or electric that caused me to have some bone loss. I spend too much money for a deep cleaning last year and the results didn’t get no better. Also I don’t have perfect teeth and a lot of people can’t afford getting braces. I just now started back going to the dentist after not going for over a decade.i tried to take care of my teeth and will continue to do better. I now understand that many people are afraid to go the fear of hearing bad things about their teeth. I would gave them 5 stars if only they can actually show how to use the electric/manual toothbrush correctly just to know that they actually care for their clients.
