About M-Irfan Suleman, MD

Dr. Suleman completed his anesthesiology residency training from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and was awarded “Excellence in Pediatric Anesthesia upon graduation. He also completed his pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Arkansas Children’s Hospital/UAMS. Dr. Suleman’s passion and interest in pain continue growing, and he decided to advance his skills in multidisciplinary and interventional pain management. He completed his Pediatric & Adult Pain fellowship from Boston Children’s Hospital/ Brigham and Women's Hospital/ Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard University, which makes him a unique physician in the country. He has worked for over 8 years and has led a Multidisciplinary Pain Program and Chronic Pain Interventional Management at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Kennedy Krieger Institute. Dr. Suleman is working on various pain-related projects, including discovering a new acute and chronic pain control technique in children and adults.
