Mackenzie was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Following her undergraduate degree, she spent a year working in the Cardiothoracic Vascular Transplant Unit at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, where she discovered her love for cardiology. She then moved to Florida and attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers where she earned her Master’s degree as a physician assistant. She completed two clinical rotations with our practice as a student prior to joining our team as a physician assistant.
