Madeline Shedd, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant now practicing at Park City Dermatology. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Georgia. She then worked as a dermatology medical assistant for three years prior to pursuing her Master’s degree in physician assistant studies at South College where she graduated magna cum laude. Madeline has been working as a dermatology PA in Georgia and decided to relocate to Utah this year.
Madeline is a member of the SDPA and is currently completing the dermatology fellowship. She strives to continue learning and growing in the specialty of dermatology to provide the best possible care for her patients. She enjoys treating a wide range of medical dermatology concerns for all ages with the goal of expanding her cosmetic dermatology knowledge with this practice.
Outside of medicine, Madeline enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her Bernese Mountain Dog, Moose. She is typically spending her weekends outdoors, traveling, and trying new restaurants. As a new Utah resident, she looks forward to improving her snowboarding skills and taking advantage of all the activities this state has to offer.

I got through it ok. The doctor was nice, she went over all my skin and explained everything that was going on. Sent me home with an RX for a crème to put on some areas of my face and forehead for some minor concerns. I feel pretty good knowing I am in good condition and being cared for. So far pretty good for my review.

I’m from Pennsylvania and was visiting Utah for vacation when I found myself needing to see a dermatologist. I hadn’t been able to get an appointment with anyone back home, but I was incredibly lucky to find Dr. Collins. She was not only able to see me, but she immediately started me on an immune suppressant that I desperately needed. She also went above and beyond by helping me get enrolled in a program to make the medication affordable. Dr. Collins is truly one in a million — compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to her patients. I am so grateful I found her when I did. If you are looking for a dermatologist who genuinely cares and will go the extra mile for you, I can’t recommend Dr. Collins highly enough.

Treated my needs
Dr. Collins is such a pleasure to visit! Bedside manner is best I’ve experienced. It’s so easy to refer my friends to her because I know she will not only take good care of them but she truly cares about her patients. If the other docs on my wellness team could be as enjoyable to see and I felt the same sincerity, it would be amazing.
They treated me very well and were right on top of my personal issues (pacemaker). They were very informative and I was involved in the decision making process for my ailment. They were very professional and personal.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Took my 11 year old daughter in to have a clear mole on her face looked at and possibly removed that day. There was no mention of any topical numbing just a needle to inject the numbing medicine. I asked the nurse, “is there no topical numbing available?” She had no answer. The needle went in, It was obviously extremely painful and my daughter was begging for the nurse to stop, she kept crying, “please stop, I can’t do this, it burns so bad!” She and I waited in the room alone for the numbing to kick in, when the Dr returned I asked again why no topical numbing was offered. Her answer.. “I’m so sorry, I didn’t even think of that.” What?! You’re a physician, isn’t that part of your job and hopefully desire to make your patients as comfortable as possible?! You didn’t even think of topical numbing BEFORE you inject a needle into my daughter’s face?! I’ve had two moles removed at different times at two different dermatologists offices…both times I was given a topical numbing agent that took about 20-30 minutes to kick in. THEN they injected the needle. I did’t feel one ounce of pain. Either time. Very disappointed in the lack of concern for my sweet 11 year old daughter’s comfort.

Dr. Collins is truly exceptional. I originally came in for a specific skin concern, but during the visit, she went above and beyond by doing a full evaluation and even identified a few other issues I hadn’t noticed or come in for. That kind of thoroughness and attention to detail is rare and deeply appreciated.
This was our first time seeing Dr Collins. I felt like she listened to us and found a really good solution for my daughter.
