Recently I had to visit the Emcura facility on Mack near Vernier Rd.in Grosse Pointe Woods. I came down with an upper respiratory infection and knew I'd need an antibiotic to get rid of it. Just like this time last year, I was gShow morereeted by a friendly young woman who introduced herself as Nicole. A quick glance around the foyer and two waiting rooms (one for those with children, and one just for adults), reassured me that this newer facility was still spotless and nicely designed with some creature comforts like attractive furniture, two tv's, and also a coffee pot! I feel better walking into a medical practice if I approve of what I see, especially after they noted that I had come at a good time, because they had been very busy earlier. Someone took the time to make sure that the waiting area was straightened up. It only took a few moments to confirm my info in their computer and I was taken back to one of the exam rooms. Soon Matt, a PA I presume, addressed me and I filled him in on the particulars of this latest annoyance. He said I'd need an antibiotic and wondered if I remembered which one I took last year for an infection very similar to this one. I didn't but he named a couple and Doxycycline rang a bell. After a brief exam of the throat and ears I was on my way! My rx was promptly sent to my pharmacy. I picked it up within 15 minutes and I was home within an hour after leaving the house! Gone are the days when these necessary inconveniences take 3 hours at an ER. Thanks Nicole! Thanks Matt! Thanks Emcura!
The personnel at the front desk are friendly and professional, a good first impression. The nurse/ medical assistant is also kind and professional making me feel welcome a second time. The PA was, friendly of course! Your whole stShow moreaff makes me feel welcome and heard. The PA listened fully to my concerns and ruled out problems in my lungs which was my concern. She sent me home with advice to treat my symptoms as a virus. I’m very happy to have come here as a regular patient after several urgent care visits. My psychiatrist was impressed with your services when I told her about my experiences. She said she’d be interested in letting her patients know of your seven days/week availability. She asked for something to hand out but the cards I received all reference the W. Maple office. Do you have anything re Northville location?

Dr. Kesliker was born in San Francisco and was raised in metro Detroit. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree and Master of Science in Biology from Wayne State University. Soon after, he attended medical school in Cambridge England at the Kigezi School of Medicine, and finished his residency in Internal Medicine through the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University Sinai Grace Hospital program. Dr. Kesliker is Board-Certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kesliker's interests include international travel and current events. He is married and has three young sons. During his free time you might find him in a spin class, on a hike, building legos with one of his sons, or enjoying sushi with his wife. He is also fluent in Gujarati.

I don’t love being sick but I love having Emcura to turn to. I became familiar with Emcura during Covid when they did a superlative job with testing. The three times I have visited due to illness or injury I have been treated with respect, friendliness, and great care.
Oustanding care and was able to get in quickly. A tiny thorn, deep in my thumb was ruining my weekend and not going away on its own. My care provider was diligent as she carefully dug it out. My aching thumb And I really appreciate her concern, care, and ability to get down in there and get it out! Bravo Emcura! So glad you’re nearby on our corner when things go south around here…
